Check who you're meeting.

1. Compare the face with the profile photo

The photo on the profile is the photo we reviewed. If the person in front of you is not the person in the picture, that is the end of the meetup, and we want to hear about it the same day.

2. Keep chat in Companio until you meet

All coordination before a meetup happens in Companio chat. Anyone asking to move to another app before you have met, or asking for payment outside the platform, is breaking our rules. Report it in the app so it can be reviewed.

3. Share your meetup code in person

Your booking confirmation shows your 4-digit meetup code. Your companion cannot see it; they ask you for it when you meet. Share it only in person, once you are comfortable confirming the meetup is taking place. Never send it before meeting.

The code confirms the meetup; it does not prove who someone is. That is what step 1 is for. If anything feels wrong, do not share the code or continue, and report the concern.

4. Something feels off?

Trust your instincts. End the meetup if it feels unsafe, call 112 if you are in immediate danger, and use SOS to share your location with someone you trust. Then report the concern in the app so it can be reviewed.
