About Companio

Is Companio a dating app?

No. Companio is strictly platonic: city walks, gym sessions, café conversations, live events and elder company. Non-platonic conduct gets an immediate permanent ban, for either side.

Are you the UK care service?

No. That’s a separate UK company that cares for older adults. We’re Companio India, at trycompanio.in. Companio is an Indian platform for meeting ID-checked, human-reviewed local companions for platonic activities in public places, like coffee, city walks, gyms and gigs. A pass unlocks profiles and chat in every city; each meetup is paid separately.

How are companions checked?

Every companion uploads a government ID, an Aadhaar or a PAN, with their profile photo. A person on our team reviews every application before the profile goes live. Nothing is approved automatically.

What is the 4-digit meetup code?

Your code appears once your companion accepts, on your booking, and your companion can’t see it. Share it in person, once you’ve checked their face against the profile photo. It confirms the meetup is taking place; it doesn’t prove who someone is.

What if I feel unsafe during a meetup?

End the meetup, and call 112 if you are in immediate danger. In the app, tap SOS to capture your current location and send it to someone you trust by Share, WhatsApp or SMS. It shares a snapshot, not live tracking, and it does not alert emergency services. Then report the concern so it can be reviewed.

How much does a pass cost?

A pass costs ₹199 for 1 month, ₹499 for 3 months, ₹999 for 12 months and ₹1999 for lifetime access. All four lengths give the same access, in every city. During the current Diwali offer, every pass is 50% off: ₹99.50 for 1 month, ₹249.50 for 3 months, ₹499.50 for 12 months and ₹999.50 for lifetime access. You see the price again before you pay.

How does a pass work?

A pass opens every companion profile, in every city. There are four lengths, all with the same access. A pass expires instead of renewing: no subscription and no auto-debit.

Does a pass include meetups?

No. The pass unlocks profiles and chat. Meetups are paid separately at each companion’s hourly rate, shown on their profile and again before you pay.

How do I request a meetup?

Pick the activity, a time and a public place on your companion’s profile. Book at least 2 hours ahead; if a companion declines, you see why and your money comes back as credit.

What if a meetup doesn’t happen?

If your request isn’t accepted, is declined, or your companion doesn’t show up, you get the full amount back as Companio wallet credit (1 credit = ₹1), usually within 3 days. If you’d rather have it on your original payment method, ask The Companio Team; banks take 5–7 working days. If you paid with wallet credit, the credit comes back as soon as the request is declined.

Can I get a refund on a pass?

A pass is non-refundable once it’s active. If your payment went through but the pass never activated, or you were charged twice, we refund it without argument.

Request it from your dashboard. Your public profile is removed and eligible personal data is erased; necessary financial records or documented incident evidence may be retained.
