Why Companio exists

Every site promised "10,000+ verified profiles," but asked you to scan a QR code before you could see a single real face. People were being scammed daily by fake profiles, hidden fees, and platforms that looked the other way when safety lines were crossed.

I wanted a platform where every single companion is ID-verified before they go live. A place where you don't have to wonder if the person you're talking to is real.

Loneliness is not a niche problem. People move cities for work, arrive knowing nobody, and slowly stop doing the things they love because doing them alone feels worse than not doing them at all.

The one unbreakable rule

Companio is for strictly platonic companionship. Nothing else.

By enforcing this, we protect our companions from harassment, and we protect our members from bait-and-switch scams. It allows us to offer something much more valuable: genuine, safe human connection. Whether you need a gym buddy, someone to show you around a new city, or just a quiet café conversation.

How we make money

The pass, from ₹199. It opens every companion profile in your city. The four tiers — 1 month, 3 months, 12 months, and lifetime — differ only in how long they last; the access is identical.

It is a pass, not a subscription. Nothing renews, nothing is auto-debited: a pass simply runs out, and you decide whether to buy another. There is nothing else to buy.

We do not sell your data, and we never will. When we start charging a commission on bookings, this page will say what it is before you are asked to pay it.
